(PetroTimes) – On December 27, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Oil and Gas Construction Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR) held a Conference to review Party work, production and business activities (SXKD) in 2024 and the Labor Conference in 2025.
Attending the Conference were Mr. Pham Tuan Anh - Member of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam; Mr. Nguyen Van Ta - Chairman of the Inspection Committee, Head of the Inspection Organization Board of Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union (VUTC).
On the PVMR side, there were Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Le Van Sy - Deputy Party Secretary, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hien - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the Trade Union, and representatives of the leaders of member units and specialized departments/offices of the Corporation.
The conference was attended by all leaders and employees of PVMR.
Reporting on the results of work in 2024 and the key tasks of work in 2025 of the PVMR Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors said that the PVMR Party Committee has issued Resolutions, directives, and action programs to lead the implementation of key tasks of work in 2024; seriously and effectively deploy the directives and Resolutions of the Central Enterprises Party Committee and the Group Party Committee to Party members and Party Cells under the PVMR Party Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri reported on the work results in 2024 and the key tasks in 2025 of the PVMR Party Committee.
In 2025, the PVMR Party Committee has identified key goals, directions and tasks to strive to successfully achieve the 2025 production and business goals. Develop and issue Party Committee programs and resolutions that are close to and in line with the actual situation to lead the Party Committee to fulfill assigned political tasks.

Reporting on production and business activities in 2024, Mr. Le Van Sy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director of PVMR emphasized that PVMR is implementing a series of large, synchronous solutions such as applying digital transformation to management and operations; restructuring the apparatus; strengthening joint ventures and cooperation with the world's leading technology partners. In 2024, on average, PVMR worked and/or signed 1.5 cooperation agreements with technology partners per month. Many of these cooperation agreements have been implemented and converted into specific revenue and profit.
PVMR successfully implemented the first closed-loop crude oil tank cleaning service packages in Vietnam for Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR). This service was highly appreciated by BSR for its quality, progress and safety. PVMR was also honored to be invited by partners to introduce this service to PETRONAS in the second quarter of 2024.
PVMR leaders have directed its member unit, Vietnam Petroleum Paint Joint Stock Company (PV Paint), to coordinate with the Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) to research and develop an industrial paint product line applying graphene nano technology to supply projects inside and outside the Oil and Gas industry. Cooperate with VPI to officially introduce this product line at the Oil & Gas Vietnam Expo 2024 event from October 23-25, 2024 and receive much attention from domestic and foreign customers.

PVMR and technology partners actively coordinate with BSR to develop a plan to deploy services applying robot technology in cleaning and coating surfaces for tanks, reservoirs, and pipelines; strive to soon deploy this service for BSR in the first quarter of 2025 based on BSR's needs.
Based on its strengths in the field of high-tech inspection, testing and verification, PVMR has signed a cooperation agreement with the Center for Certification and Enterprise Development (QCC) under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations to deploy services related to greenhouse gases. It is expected that PVMR and QCC will hold a conference in Vung Tau to introduce products and services that PVMR and QCC have developed and provided to customers in and outside the Oil and Gas industry.

The Corporation also continues to work with international partners to research and deploy carbon capture and storage (CCS) services as an important medium- and long-term solution to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions...

From the major tasks that have been implemented and on the basis of the over-fulfillment of the parent company and member units of the entire PVMR system in 2024, PVMR has exceeded all major financial targets, specifically: Consolidated revenue reached 738.62 billion VND (equivalent to 1,32% of the annual plan, an increase of 28% compared to 2023); pre-tax profit reached 16.62 billion VND (equivalent to 1,71% of the annual plan, an increase of 45% compared to 2023); State budget payment reached 26.27 billion VND (equivalent to 1,26% of the 2024 plan, an increase of 7% compared to 2023).
In addition to effective production and business activities that exceeded many targets, PVMR also pays special attention to social security work. The Corporation will promote its strengths and internal resources, orienting its business model to focus on traditional areas and key products (maintenance and repair, ship and port inspection, energy assessment); actively cooperate with partners and technology contractors to develop the market, provide technical services applying high technology and advanced techniques, meeting the needs of customers inside and outside the industry; improve the quality of products and services, participate in providing services for projects/works invested by the Corporation and units inside and outside the industry, especially in areas with strengths such as maintenance and repair.
