PMS: 2024 revenue increased by 23% compared to plan

(PetroTimes) – In 2024, overcoming market fluctuations and difficulties in production and business activities, Petroleum Construction Maintenance and Repair Joint Stock Company (PMS) achieved total revenue of more than 271.3 billion VND, an increase of 231.3% compared to the plan and 81.3% higher than in 2023.

On January 7, PMS held a Labor Conference to summarize production and business activities in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025.

Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Construction Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR); Mr. Le Van Sy - General Director of PVMR; and representatives of the functional departments of the Corporation.

On the PMS side, the conference was chaired by Ms. Do Thi Bich Hong - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of PMS; Mr. Do Manh Hung - Director of PMS and Mr. Phan Dinh Hau - Chairman of the PMS Trade Union; with the participation of members of the Board of Directors, Board of Directors, representatives of departments and a large number of employees of the unit.

Conference overview

Last year, with the determination of the entire Board of Directors and employees, PMS is estimated to achieve and exceed many important production and business targets. Specifically, total revenue in 2024 is estimated to be 271.3 billion VND; profit after tax is estimated to reach 6.55 billion VND (an increase of 131.3% compared to the plan and 21.3% higher than the same period in 2023), contributing 9.6 billion VND to the state budget.

PMS's 2024 revenue comes from service segments such as: providing goods and materials; maintenance and repair services and maintenance and repair support; providing personnel; construction, processing, manufacturing; supplying and installing equipment (laboratories, etc.); NDT services (non-destructive testing); equipment rental and other services. Of which, maintenance and repair services and maintenance and repair support account for more than 59% of total revenue.

In addition to production and business activities, PMS has also strengthened the Board of Directors by appointing 2 Deputy Directors and 3 department heads, in accordance with the production and business situation of the unit. At the same time, PMS also organizes for employees to participate in training courses to improve their professional skills and expertise.

The company has also organized more than 405 employees to participate in training courses on occupational safety and hygiene, safety at heights, confined spaces, fire prevention and fighting... ensuring that 100% has no safety violations or accidents, completing security, safety, and fire prevention work well. In particular, the total accumulated safety working hours of PMS by the end of 2024 will reach 10.55 million hours.

Over the past year, PMS has always actively carried out social security work, “mutual love” programs… In particular, for employees of the unit, the government and the Company’s Trade Union have organized many programs to care for the material and spiritual life of employees in difficult circumstances. In addition, PMS has also actively participated in programs launched by Petrovietnam and PVMR.

In addition, PMS has successfully digitized management by applying a new platform to business administration. It is expected that next year, PMS will continue to apply digitization in financial management and equipment asset management...

PMS assesses that 2025 will have many difficulties and advantages. Therefore, the unit has proposed solutions to promote advantages and overcome difficulties and challenges. In particular, PMS will closely follow the development of services for long-term customers and partners to exploit and provide the unit's services such as manufacturing, installation, maintenance, repair, etc. In particular, continue to focus on developing services outside the Dung Quat Economic Zone such as units in Vung Tau, Thai Binh, Ha Tinh, etc. This is a solution that the unit has successfully implemented in 2024.

In addition, PMS focuses on organizing investment in specialized equipment, machinery and infrastructure to meet the requirements of large projects in the coming time. Regarding corporate governance, PMS will accelerate the application of digitalization in management, prioritizing project management and equipment management. In addition, it will strengthen the search and signing of cooperation agreements with potential partners in the field of maintenance and repair as well as domestic and foreign equipment and tool suppliers.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri - Chairman of PVMR's Board of Directors acknowledged and praised the business results that PMS achieved in 2024. The Chairman of PVMR shared that 2024 was a year of many difficulties and challenges with complex market fluctuations and extreme weather, especially in the Central region. However, PMS still achieved and exceeded many important business targets, the Company's total revenue in 2024 contributed about 38% to PVMR's revenue.

Also at the conference, to recognize the achievements of collectives and individuals in the emulation movement to complete production and business tasks in 2024, contributing to promoting the creative labor movement of employees, PMS organized rewards and awarded many titles to collectives and individuals of the unit. At the same time, PMS also organized the signing of collective labor agreements and launched the emulation movement in 2025.
