(PetroTimes) – On June 21 and 22, in Quang Ngai City, the Trade Union of Petroleum Construction Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR) successfully organized the 6th Traditional Sports Festival in 2024, with the participation of nearly 200 athletes from units within the Corporation.
PVMR Traditional Sports Festival 2024 has the participation and companionship of the Board of Directors of units such as PVMR, PV TSR, PMS, PV Paint, EIC. PVMR Traditional Sports Festival is an annual activity organized by PVMR, with the participation of a large number of athletes from member units such as Vietnam Petroleum Inspection Service Trading Company Limited (PV TSR), Joint Stock Company Petroleum Project Maintenance and Repair Services (PMS); Vietnam Petroleum Paint Joint Stock Company (PV Paint) and Vietnam Energy Inspection Joint Stock Company (EIC). This is the 6th time the PVMR Traditional Sports Festival has been held and the first time member units are hosting the event. This year, the 4th PVMR Traditional Sports Festival 2024 is hosted by PMS in Quang Ngai City.

This year, PVMR's Traditional Sports Festival was held with the participation of nearly 200 athletes (the largest number ever) from PVMR's member units. Competitions held at the PVMR sports festival include: Men's/Women's Tug of War, Badminton, Sack Jumping, Table Tennis, Tennis, Men's/Women's Swimming, Volleyball, Chinese Chess, Athletics and Soccer male/female stone.

The sports festival also encourages the spirit of participating athletes with many attractive prizes such as group prizes and individual prizes. In particular, the collective prize will include the first prize for the entire team (based on the number of medals) and the style prize (the team has athletes who compete fully, on time, do not violate the rules, have good actions...) and the most enthusiastic fan group award. For individual prizes, the organizers also awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals to the athletes who won first, second, and third prizes. The 2024 PVMR Traditional Sports Festival is the first time that member organizations are responsible for hosting the organization. It is known that the 7th PVMR Traditional Sports Festival will be hosted by EIC in 2025.
