The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) is entering a new term with a renewed spirit and a strong desire to grow. The sharing of cadres and party members at the Congress has clarified the central role of the Party in guiding and leading the comprehensive development of the Group in the current transformation period.
Comrade Nguyen Trung Tri - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Construction Maintenance and Repair Corporation (PVMR) shared about the role of the Party organization in shaping the development goals of the enterprise: As a specialized unit in industrial construction maintenance and repair, PVMR is currently facing the urgent need to improve its competitiveness to continue accompanying the Group in the upcoming development stages.

According to comrade Nguyen Trung Tri, PVMR has identified three key tasks: investing in upgrading equipment and technology systems to keep up with new market trends; developing high-quality human resources; and innovating the management model towards modernity and efficiency. This proactive spirit clearly reflects the innovative and creative thinking that is spreading strongly throughout the Group, where each member enterprise not only plays a production and business role, but is also a "fortress" of the Party organization, contributing to the implementation of the national mission on industry and energy.
Not stopping at maintaining its role in the oil and gas technical supply chain, PVMR also aims to expand into the regional market, pioneering the application of new technology to products and services. “We continue to build corporate culture, taking oil and gas culture as a fulcrum to arouse the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and aspiration for dedication in all employees,” emphasized Mr. Nguyen Trung Tri.
The idea of “taking culture as the foundation, taking innovation as the driving force” is becoming the “red thread” running through the motto of action of many units under Petrovietnam. It is the connection between strategic thinking and spiritual life that has created a strong internal force, helping the Group not only stand firm in a fiercely competitive environment, but also contribute more and more clearly to the journey of strong transformation of the national energy industry.
